A message of love; truth; and eternal security
“Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; He was buried; and He rose again the third day.”
(1 Corinthians 15:3–4)
Why was the burial important?
Many people leave out the burial when preaching the gospel; but it’s an essential part to believe.
In Bible times; men debated whether Jesus was actually buried. But the burial is proof that His death was real; not symbolic.
Fully believing this complete gospel; not just mentally agreeing; but trusting it in your heart; is what brings the true; transformative sealing of the Holy Spirit unto salvation (Ephesians 1:13).
If you think you're saved; but you've never truly believed in His death; burial; and resurrection as one complete work… you may not be.
This is history; not religion. The burial proved His death was real. If you believe this; you are sealed with the Holy Spirit; forever.
You don’t work for this; you believe it.
God disciplines those He loves; but never un-saves His children.
It’s not about saying the perfect prayer. It’s about believing the perfect Savior.
If you believe Jesus died for your sins; was buried; and rose again; you are His. Forever.
